Betsy Hill

Betsy Hill is an expert coach and communications specialist who has been working with international executives and professionals for thirty years. She holds an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Hunter College, and a B.A. in Anthropology from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. As an Associate Adjunct Professor at New York University in the American Language Institute, she has taught courses in Speaking with Confidence and Fluency, Advanced Accent Correction, and numerous academic and business reading, writing and speaking classes. She has been an Adjunct Lecturer at five colleges for the City University of New York since 1982.

Her expertise in guiding individuals to discover and capitalize on their strengths has enabled them to advance and succeed in professional, social and academic settings.

Her extensive experience in working with people from different cultures has been an integral element in her success in facilitating workshops and individual coaching sessions, resulting in improved work relationships,   greater profitability, and a more productive, healthier work environment.

Ms. Hill has developed programs, various curriculuae and workshops for  companies such as Coach Leatherware, the Marriot Hotel, New York State Insurance Company, Banco de Provencia of Argentina, Bayer Corporation, and several academic institutions such as the City University of New York (CUNY) and the Department of Education (NYC). Her coaching experience includes working with individuals from the United Nations, the New York Stock Exchange, several international embassies, numerous banks and many academic institutions.

Ms. Hill has developed techniques which focus on the commonalities we share, thereby fostering and helping to create opportunities for both individuals and groups to clarify and reach their goals.
